| Tenor Marimba | ||||||||||||||||
| Our tenor marimbas usually consist of padauk keys on a frame of a lighter color, like alder, poplar, maple, cherry, and so on. Wenge among other woods can be used for the keys, producing a different sound. They can be made with or without F#'s, with extended scales, with the use of different dimensions (such as graduating in width keys), etc, etc. |

| Resonators that hang below the keys amplify the corresponding note and are equipped with buzzers to produce that traditional and vital part of Zimbabwean music. The resonators and buzzers are recommended, but are of course optional. |

| Standard specifications: Range: C3-E5, C major scale, 17 keys. Dimensions: 3" wide keys, the longest being 20". Tenors are made for the player to stand while playing. |
